Before Brown Pontiac, and the Central Avenue Strip, there were various residences, small businesses, and some woods between Reynolds and Holland-Sylvania. C.L. Bleckner lived at 5625 Central.
The property was acquired by the Brown family in 1971. Kistler Ford had already been established on the east side of the property by this time. Brown Pontiac opened in 1972.
