This house was located between the Driftwood Lounge (Frontier Bar) and the railroad tracks (University Parks Trail). It was built c1945.

In 1991 the business was purchased by two Rick’s employees, Dave Gierke and Dave Fogle. Geirke and Fogle moved the store to 4100 Monroe Street in 1993 and renamed it Daves’ Drum Depot. In 2005 Daves’ Drum Depot was purchased by long time manager Martin Stein and renamed The Drum Depot.
